Optimise your site so that it appears in the top entries when searched on.

Search engines basically use crawlers that look through your site and analyse its content, so what you want is a site that crawlers think is good.

On the other hand keywords that are highly searched for may be already occupied by highly ranked websites already, and difficult to out rank them.
